Top Performer in Rally Obedience Trophy

  1. Nature of the Award
    1. A rotating commemorative trophy, the CCRCA Top Performer in Rally Obedience Trophy shall be awarded to honor the top performing Curly-Coated Retriever in AKC Rally Obedience from January 1st – December 31st.
    2. Donated by Aubrey LaCrosse In Memory of “Qwik” HRCH UH GRACH U-CD CH Sun Devil Seas Blazin' For Shore VCD2 UDX OM2 GN GO VER RM RAE MH MX MXJ MXF TKA CGC WCQ15 UWCX. The first Rally Master titled Curly-Coated Retriever, Owned and Loved by Aubrey LaCrosse.

  2. Eligibility
    1. Any Curly-Coated Retriever belonging to any CCRCA member, in good standing with the CCRCA & AKC is eligible to win this prize.
    2. A Curly-Coated Retriever is eligible to repeat as a winner.

  3. Specifications
    1. In the event of a tie, the Curly with more higher level passes will take precedence over the lower levels.
    2. The winning Curly-Coated Retriever will have its official AKC registered name with all AKC and CCRCA titles engraved on the trophy..
    3. A keeper plaque will be given to the owner of the winning Curly-Coated Retriever with the following text: CCRCA Top Performer in Rally Obedience, Year won, dogs AKC registered name with titles and honorifics as specified by the dog’s owner.
    4. All expenses for the trophy and keeper plaque (shipping & engraving) are covered by the CCRCA.
    5. If any additional plaques are requested. All costs will be at the expense of the winner. Requesting additional plaques needs to be done at the time that the engraving specifications are determined.
    6. The trophy must be returned in good condition, to the Rotating Trophy chair when asked, well before the next year’s CCRCA National Specialty.

  4. Points
    1. Points will be assembled from the official AKC records by the Rotating Trophy Chairperson. CCRCA members may also submit their dog’s Rally accomplishments to the Rotating Trophy Chairperson for consideration. The Chair shall seek to verify all reported accomplishments and in doing so may ask the owner for evidence verifying the reported accomplishments.

    Points will be tallied based on the following point schedule:

    Novice 4 points
    Intermediate 6 points
    Advanced 8 points
    Excellant 10 points
    Master 12 points
    High Combined in trial (each) 5 points
    High triple Score in trial (each) 10 points
    Rally title (each)
    Including any #’s such as RM2, RAE3, RACH4    		 10 points
    Placements  
        First 4 points
        Second 3 points
        Third 2 points
        Fourth 1 points
